Wow, well I thought the day would never come, May 18th! I was scheduled for my c-section @ 7:30 am and couldn't wait! Most c-sections are scheduled 1 week prior to your due date but I had to wait the entire weekend until Monday, only 5 days early! But, it all worked out. If I would have had Lucy on Saturday I would have missed out on sharing one of the best days and memories with Henry, "Dozer Day" in Vancouver, WA. Henry was able to "operate" a real bulldozer, excavator, gyro trak, and giant dump truck as well as climb on all the heavy equipment a little boy could ever imagine! And, when Monday morning came around and our sweet Lucy was born @ 7:56am weighing 8lbs 4oz and 21 inches long it was well worth the wait! I couldn't imagine having 2 kids on Sunday and couldn't imagine having only 1 on Monday! Oh, how how much a mother's heart could grow!
